An Israel-based chemical manufacturing company is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage supplier invoices and payments, reconciliations, statutory reporting, and other daily accounting operations.
Responsibilities
- Record, review, and process domestic and international supplier invoices
- Process supplier, government, and regulatory payments in line with deadlines and requirements
- Manage overseas supplier payments and related documentation
- Perform bank and account reconciliations and investigate variances
- Analyze monthly income and expenses by business area
- Prepare monthly financial reports and documentation for government authorities
- Assist with annual statutory reports
- Record bank deposits and maintain accurate accounting records
- Process and maintain import-related files, invoices, and supporting documentation
- Support month-end and year-end accounting activities
Requirements
- At least 15 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance processes
- Experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, payment processing, and general ledger activities
- Fluent English
- Proficiency with accounting or ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
