Senior Accountant

Own accounting, financial reporting, statutory and tax compliance, and accounts payable for a global digital asset infrastructure company. Lead the accounting close and local audit, and partner with the global finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Own accounting and financial reporting under US GAAP and group accounting policies; lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis.
  • Manage the end-to-end accounts payable cycle, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, approvals, payments, reconciliations, and aging.
  • Oversee bookkeeping-team banking operations, review bank and card reconciliations and expense claims, monitor cash, and support treasury funding and payments.
  • Manage intercompany balances, recharges, settlements, reconciliations, and consolidation support.
  • Prepare Israeli statutory financial statements and manage external audits.
  • Coordinate Israeli direct tax compliance with the Group Tax Director and external advisors, including returns, reconciliations, advance payments, and tax authority inquiries.
  • Own Israeli VAT, withholding, and related reporting and compliance.
  • Review monthly payroll, statutory contributions, provisions, journals, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Own finance systems, including NetSuite, Coupa, and banking platforms; maintain data integrity and improve configurations and processes.
  • Identify and implement accounting process automation, including the use of AI tools.
  • Guide and review the bookkeeping team's day-to-day work and set priorities and quality standards.
  • Partner with global finance, cross-functional teams, vendors, and advisors; lead ad hoc accounting projects.

Requirements

  • Israeli CPA qualification.
  • Big Four background, including technology audit experience.
  • At least 3 years of post-internship experience.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and hands-on ownership of month-end close and group reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Israeli direct and indirect tax, including corporate tax, VAT, and withholding.
  • Experience preparing Israeli statutory financial statements and managing external audits end to end.
  • Hands-on NetSuite experience with general ledger, accounts payable, and banking modules.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience adopting AI tools and integrating them into daily workflows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in Hebrew and English; experience working across cultures and time zones.
