Contract opportunity for a qualified accountant to manage month-end close, statutory reporting, reconciliations, controls, and audit coordination for Israeli entities.
Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end accounting close for Israeli entities.
- Prepare balance sheet and profit-and-loss analyses and reconciliations.
- Manage the fixed-assets sub-ledger.
- Prepare and review monthly accounts-payable accruals.
- Generate and review general-ledger journal entries.
- Maintain local accounting policies and desktop procedures.
- Perform internal controls over accounting and accounts-payable processes.
- Prepare statutory monthly reports, including tax advances and VAT filings.
- Coordinate statutory audits and tax-return completion.
- Support mergers and acquisitions and other ad hoc projects.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant or CPA with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
- At least 2 years of relevant post-internship experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Strong MS Office and G Suite skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, demanding environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in a global company.
- Advanced SAP ECC or S/4HANA knowledge.
- Experience with BlackLine and Ariba.
- Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions.
