Own the monthly payroll process for approximately 300 employees, ensuring accurate payroll, reporting, and compliance while supporting employees and managers.
Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly payroll process from collecting and entering data through generating payslips.
- Check payroll data and controls, including attendance, overtime, leave, benefits, pension contributions, taxation, and employee benefit funds.
- Manage onboarding, terminations, salary updates, employment terms, and changes throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Prepare ongoing reports for authorities and institutional bodies and complete reconciliations.
- Advise employees and managers on payroll, benefits, and employment terms.
- Coordinate with HR, accounting, managers, insurers, pension funds, and other external providers.
- Monitor labor-law, payroll, and tax updates and apply them to payroll processes.
- Handle employee and payroll data accurately and confidentially.
Requirements
- Certified Payroll Accountant certification.
- At least five years of experience as a Payroll Accountant.
- Experience independently managing the full payroll function as the sole payroll professional in a medium-to-large organization.
- Experience processing payroll for 300 or more employees.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
- High-level Hebrew and good English.
- Experience working with HR, accounting, authorities, and institutional bodies, and handling employee benefits, social contributions, terminations, and onboarding.
Nice to have
- Experience with Hargal and attendance management systems.
- Academic background in accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Professional training and ongoing updates in labor law, payroll, and taxation.
