A growing fintech and payments company is seeking an experienced Payment Operations Specialist to manage global payment activity, liquidity, bank balances, PSP relationships, crypto operations, invoice recording and reconciliations across entities, currencies and payment channels. Responsibilities
- Execute incoming and outgoing payments through banks, payment service providers, crypto platforms and wallets
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations across banks, PSPs, crypto platforms and the ERP system
- Monitor daily cash flow, liquidity requirements and bank balances across multiple entities and currencies
- Execute and oversee domestic and international fund transfers, including payment approvals and supporting-document controls
- Investigate and resolve unreconciled transactions, settlement differences, payment failures and chargebacks
- Use AI tools, data-reconciliation solutions and automation to improve reconciliation accuracy and exception management
- Support financial controls and process improvements across global payment operations
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in treasury operations, payments operations, financial operations, reconciliations or a related field
- Proven experience in fintech, payments, electronic money institutions, cryptocurrency, e-commerce or another high-volume transaction environment
- Hands-on experience with crypto operations, including wallets, crypto transfers, settlements, transaction monitoring and reconciliations
- Strong experience working with payment service providers, settlement reports, incoming receipts, payment investigations and reconciliation processes
- Experience managing high transaction volumes, multiple bank accounts, payment providers, currencies and legal entities
- Strong understanding of international payment flows, banking processes, liquidity management, fees, settlements and financial controls
- Hands-on experience using AI tools, automation platforms or advanced reconciliation technology
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability with excellent attention to detail
- High-level English communication skills for working with financial institutions and international service providers
Nice to have
- Experience with XBO, Fireblocks or EMI banks
- Experience with Power Query, BI tools or dedicated reconciliation platforms
- Experience improving or implementing finance, payment and reconciliation processes in multi-entity, multi-currency environments
- Experience supporting the onboarding and integration of new banks, PSPs, wallets or payment providers
