Full-time role supporting accounting users throughout the design, testing, training, go-live, and stabilization of an SAP financial consolidation system. The position connects business users with the project, technology, and implementation teams.
Responsibilities
- Define detailed requirements, system processes, and master data with the implementation vendor.
- Specify every field and cell in financial reports.
- Support accounting end users and respond to functional system questions.
- Help users understand reports, data, and system workflows.
- Investigate functional issues and track them through resolution.
- Support user acceptance testing, consolidate findings and gaps, and propose improvements.
- Help implement new organizational work processes.
- Coordinate with the project manager, technology team, and implementation team.
- Attend status meetings, track open tasks, and prioritize user requests.
- Relay user feedback to the implementation team.
- Prepare work plans, monitor tasks, and create management presentations.
Requirements
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Experience specifying and implementing an SAP financial consolidation system.
- Experience supporting users during testing and training.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Understanding of financial and business processes.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to process complex, high-volume information.
- System-level perspective, accuracy, thoroughness, accountability, and ability to work under pressure and to defined schedules.
- Strong service orientation, interpersonal skills, and teamwork ability.
Nice to have
- Experience in a banking finance environment.
- Experience with business intelligence systems.
