A growing healthcare technology company is seeking a Financial Controller to lead accounting, reporting, planning, audit coordination, and finance process improvement. The role reports to the Director of Finance and works closely with executive leadership in a global, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead accounting and financial reporting activities.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and presentations for executive management and the board.
- Manage external audit processes and provide required documentation and support.
- Build bottom-up financial models for business planning, measurement, and forecasting.
- Support annual planning, budgeting, long-term planning, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Partner with leadership to promote data-driven decision-making.
- Drive finance process efficiency and improvement, including AI-enabled workflow automation.
- Present actionable, data-driven insights to executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- Certified accountant.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Financial Controller.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Data-driven approach to analyzing business performance and identifying root causes.
- Experience supporting change management and future-state implementation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, persuasion, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work across multiple time zones in a global, rapidly growing, and ambiguous environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in a high-tech company.
- Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience implementing AI tools in finance processes.
