A financial services operations company is seeking a Finance and Accounting Specialist to manage accounting processes, support reporting and regulatory activities, improve automation, and maintain data quality. The role is based in Herzliya and follows a full-time schedule aligned with international
Responsibilities
- Manage ongoing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for group companies
- Work with financial systems and automation processes, including payments
- Participate in financial reporting and month-end closing
- Support regulatory reporting, including capital and liquidity reporting
- Improve workflows and identify automation opportunities
- Work with large datasets and perform data cleansing
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and product stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in financial services, banking, investment firms, or fintech
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Knowledge of taxation, including reconciliations and compliance requirements
- Advanced Excel skills, including functions and PivotTables
- Experience with ERP systems
- Excellent English
- Ability to work independently with strong organization and attention to detail
Nice to have
- Experience with SQL or automation
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
