A financial organization is seeking a Controller to manage financial activities for a portfolio of companies and alternative investment funds. The role covers accounting, reporting, controls, reconciliations, and coordination with fund managers, trustees, auditors, and tax authorities.
Responsibilities
- Manage the financial activities of a portfolio of companies and investment funds
- Prepare financial and regulatory reports for investment funds
- Oversee accounting activities across multiple companies
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform monthly controls, reconciliations, and analytical reviews
- Support tax reporting and ongoing financial processes
- Coordinate with fund managers, trustees, external auditors, and tax authorities
- Participate in cross-functional Finance projects
Requirements
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
- Mandatory Big Four internship
- At least 3 years of post-internship experience in a financial services organization or large company
- Strong accounting and financial reporting skills
- Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements
- Good English with strong verbal communication skills
