A global industrial group is hiring a Chief Accountant for a part-time role managing its accounting team and financial processes across companies in Israel and abroad.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of two accountants in Israel and one abroad.
- Oversee monthly closings, accounting provisions and balance control for group companies in Israel and abroad.
- Perform and oversee intercompany and bank reconciliations.
- Manage fixed-asset registration, depreciation and adjustments.
- Prepare and report consolidated VAT for the group's Israeli companies.
- Coordinate the group's factoring and credit insurance.
- Work with the Finance Manager and provide professional guidance on accounting matters.
Requirements
- Type 3 accounting certification and experience as a Chief Accountant or balance sheet manager.
- Experience managing a team.
- Experience with monthly closings, bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
- High proficiency in Excel and good English.
Nice to have
- Experience in a multi-company environment.
- Experience with Priority software.
