Bookkeeper – U.S. Entities
Full-time hybrid Bookkeeper position in the Tel Aviv District supporting accurate bookkeeping for U.S. entities and coordinating with accounting and tax professionals.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for U.S. entities
- Record and reconcile financial transactions
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and update general ledgers
- Support periodic financial statement preparation
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing
- Coordinate with accountants, tax professionals, internal teams, and client representatives
- Maintain timely documentation and compliance with accounting standards and firm procedures
Requirements
- Strong bookkeeping experience with ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
- Ability to prepare, review, and support accurate financial statements
- Proficiency with accounting software and related digital tools
- Understanding of finance principles and practical accounting
- Experience preparing and posting journal entries and supporting month-end and year-end close
- Relevant education in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal English communication
- Eligibility to work in Israel and willingness to work in a hybrid Tel Aviv arrangement
Nice to have
- Experience with U.S. entities or U.S. GAAP
- Bookkeeping or accounting certification
- Hebrew proficiency
