A global medical device company is seeking an Assistant Controller to support accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, controls, and analysis for its Israeli parent company and international subsidiaries.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, close, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Israeli parent company and global subsidiaries.
- Prepare financial analyses, management reports, and summaries for company departments and leadership.
- Support annual Group budgeting in collaboration with department managers and stakeholders.
- Monitor and review accounting books with bookkeeping teams.
- Support collections and monitor outstanding receivables from distributors and local customers.
- Develop and improve management reports and business intelligence tools.
- Assist with financial process optimization, internal controls, and management reporting.
Requirements
- Mandatory bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Mandatory certified public accountant qualification following completion of an internship.
- Mandatory strong Microsoft Office and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Mandatory excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical and data analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Ability to work across multiple teams and interfaces.
Nice to have
- Internship experience at a Big Four accounting firm.
- Previous professional experience.
