Hands-on finance professional supporting the Controller with financial reporting, closing activities, Israeli payroll, audits, controls, and finance process improvement for a global public company.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements under US GAAP and public company reporting requirements
- Prepare and review account reconciliations, accruals, supporting schedules, and financial analyses
- Manage the Israeli payroll process, including preparation, review, documentation, and related accounting
- Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audits and quarterly reviews
- Support financial controls and compliance activities
- Improve and automate financial processes, controls, and recurring workflows using AI tools and other technologies
- Provide support across finance activities based on business and team needs
Requirements
- CPA qualification with a Big Four audit background
- 3–4 years of experience in accounting, audit, or an Assistant Controller role
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting principles
- Experience with financial reporting, closing processes, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules
- Strong knowledge of Israeli payroll processes and related accounting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring deadlines independently
- Interest in using AI, automation, and new technologies to improve finance processes
Nice to have
- Experience at a global public company with consolidated financial statements and public company reporting
- Experience working with external auditors and internal control processes
- Experience with Priority or another ERP system
- Experience with finance automation and AI tools
