A global crop protection company is seeking an Assistant Controller to support its accounting and financial reporting team in Airport City, Israel. The role is outsourced for at least 1.5 years and reports to the Controller.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements for dual-traded entities in Israel and China under IFRS and PRC GAAP.
- Coordinate with shareholders and global finance stakeholders.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and regulatory alignment of reported financial data.
- Manage the consolidation of subsidiary financial statements.
- Oversee accounting procedures and address significant accounting matters.
- Implement automation, systems, and process improvements with Finance IT.
- Contribute to annual work planning and business estimates.
- Support group SOX compliance.
- Participate in high-impact cross-functional global projects.
Requirements
- Certified Public Accountant certification is mandatory.
- At least three years of experience in a Big Four audit team serving publicly traded or reporting companies, or as an Assistant Controller in a global company.
- Mandatory familiarity with IFRS.
- Experience with financial systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Hebrew.
- Strong analytical, planning, organizational, teamwork, follow-up, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural, and high-pressure environment.
