Assistant Controller

Full-time Assistant Controller position reporting to the Chief Accountant at a subsidiary of a publicly traded industrial company in Israel.
Responsibilities
- Manage the company’s accounting function
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS
- Coordinate with external auditors
- Manage inventory accounting for raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods
- Prepare budgets and analyze budget-versus-actual performance
- Prepare filings for tax authorities, VAT, and payroll withholdings
Requirements
- Certified CPA qualification is required
- At least two years of experience as an Assistant Controller or Controller is required
Nice to have
- Good English proficiency
- Big Four accounting firm experience
- Experience building controls and improving financial processes
- Experience in a public industrial or manufacturing company
- Management experience
- Experience with consolidated financial statements and subsidiaries
- Experience with SOX or ISOX controls
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing company
