Join a growing global direct-to-consumer online eyewear retailer in Israel. Support group accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit activities across the company and its subsidiaries.
Responsibilities
- Support accurate and timely month-end close, including balance sheet and profit and loss account reviews
- Support consolidated period-end closing under US GAAP
- Participate in preparing consolidated financial statements
- Analyze complex revenue recognition matters
- Own sales tax policy, analysis, and reporting
- Manage the full accruals cycle for the company and its subsidiaries
- Assist with annual Israeli tax reports
- Prepare reports with the Controllers
- Coordinate with external auditors
- Provide guidance to bookkeeping staff
- Work with other departments to ensure business activity is accurately reflected in financial statements
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis
Requirements
- Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Big Four internship in a high-tech division
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Israeli GAAP
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to independently monitor financial data
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
