Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of learning science principles into the learning platform’s design and development
- Work with academic and industry experts to apply current research to the learning experience
- Build partnerships with researchers and educational institutions
- Oversee relevant data acquisition and analysis for AI training and product improvement
- Develop evaluation methods to measure software effectiveness and student outcomes
- Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to the learning and development team
- Monitor developments in learning science and use them to guide product innovation
Requirements
- Advanced degree in learning sciences, educational psychology, or a related field
- Strong understanding of learning theories and principles
- Experience applying learning science to educational products or software
- Experience collaborating with academic experts, researchers, and industry professionals
- Proficiency using data and analytics to support decisions and measure learning interventions
- Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to turn complex concepts into actionable insights
- Passion for education, learning science, and improving student outcomes
