Embedded QA and Integration Engineer

Join a multidisciplinary team testing and integrating complex, mission-critical embedded systems. This full-time role is on-site in Northern Israel, with no hybrid option; customer-site integration may be required.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual system-level and integration testing of complex real-time embedded systems.
- Plan, write, execute, and maintain test cases and scenarios.
- Conduct end-to-end product integration testing.
- Analyze requirements and technical specifications to develop test scenarios.
- Set up systems and laboratory equipment, including interfaces and cables.
- Troubleshoot failures using logs, network traces, and diagnostic tools.
- Test product interfaces and interactions with external systems.
- Perform integration activities at customer sites when required.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and investigate defects and support root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with embedded, software, hardware, systems, and integration engineers to ensure test coverage and product quality.
- Use Jira for defect tracking and test-related activities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of QA or system-testing experience with embedded systems.
- Experience writing and executing detailed test cases for complex systems.
- Experience with system-level and integration testing.
- Ability to read and analyze logs and system or communication traces.
- Familiarity with Wireshark, network sniffers, or similar diagnostic tools.
- Experience using laboratory test equipment and working with physical systems.
- Experience with Jira.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Northern Israel.
Nice to have
- Experience testing interfaces between multiple systems or products.
- Basic knowledge of Linux, Python, or communication protocols.
