Systems Engineer responsible for the conception, architecture, integration, verification, and optimization of complex medical imaging products. The role coordinates multidisciplinary engineering work and supports product quality, reliability, compliance, manufacturing, and field performance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary integrator across engineering disciplines and functions
- Define, design, and implement products, features, and functionalities
- Develop system concepts, analyses, requirements, traceability, architecture, and system designs
- Perform FMEA, system integration, optimization, and verification and validation testing
- Quantify subsystem interactions and their effects on image quality
- Incorporate feedback into hardware, software, and service specifications
- Resolve urgent issues affecting current molecular imaging products
- Support manufacturing and field issue resolution
- Work with customers, marketing, and field personnel to refine requirements
- Support program execution within project schedules
Requirements
- BSc in biomedical, mechanical, electrical, or software engineering
- At least 2 years of relevant systems engineering experience on complex system design and development projects
- Broad exposure to mechanical, control, hardware, software, and systems design
- Technical depth in at least one engineering discipline, such as electrical, mechanical, software, control, or physics
- Proficiency with analysis and simulation tools such as MATLAB
