Join an aerospace engineering team responsible for structural substantiation, strength calculations, dynamic analysis, and testing for missile, space, communications, and navigation systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced strength and dynamics analyses using finite element software.
- Prepare detailed structural justifications and perform classical and computer-based strength calculations.
- Plan and support strength and dynamics tests, including analysis of test results.
- Collaborate with structural, aerodynamics, heat transfer, and environmental engineering teams.
- Meet project objectives, schedules, and demanding specification requirements.
- Develop and implement engineering solutions for complex structural challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aeronautical Engineering.
- At least two years of experience performing strength and dynamics analyses.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in strength and dynamics calculations.
- Practical experience performing strength and dynamics analyses using finite element software.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in solid mechanics and dynamics.
- Experience with PATRAN, NASTRAN, or MARC.
- Experience analyzing structures made from composite materials.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
