Responsibilities
- Define and characterize LOS and BLOS wireless communication systems
- Write technical requirements specifications and manage suppliers delivering communication system assemblies
- Conduct supplier acceptance testing
- Define requirements for software teams developing communication system management software
- Help establish an integration laboratory
- Integrate and test communication system assemblies and management software into an end-to-end system
- Plan and participate in flight tests demonstrating communication system performance
- Investigate and analyze test results
- Work directly with customers
Requirements
- BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science
- At least 5 years of experience as a wireless communications systems engineer
- Knowledge of LOS or satellite communications
- Knowledge of digital and analog communications, modulation, modems, and encryption techniques
- Knowledge of RF systems, transmitters, amplifiers, and receivers
- Knowledge of antennas, antenna arrays, and electromagnetic wave propagation
- Professional English reading, writing, and speaking skills
