An established semiconductor company is seeking a Senior RTL Design Engineer in Haifa or Hod HaSharon, Israel, to develop ASIC RTL for microcontroller and application processor functional units.
Responsibilities
- Interpret high-level specifications for microcontroller and application processor functional units
- Define block microarchitecture and develop RTL through all design stages
- Work with verification teams on test plans and verification closure
- Analyze synthesis and timing reports and address critical issues
- Meet performance, power, and area targets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 8–10 years of experience in ASIC front-end logic or RTL design
- Experience with RTL coding, front-end tools, and signoff
- Experience designing complex datapath or control-path logic
- Knowledge of CPU or multi-pipeline microcontroller design
Nice to have
- Knowledge of SoC systems and operating system software
- Equivalent professional experience in place of the stated degree or experience range
