Develop propulsion and guidance systems for advanced missile and space programs in Beer Yaakov, Israel. The role covers system design, component development, and complex ground and flight testing.
Responsibilities
- Perform system-level propulsion design and select optimal solutions for required operating conditions
- Design propulsion systems and specify their key components
- Develop airborne propulsion components, including engines, fuel and compressed-gas pressure vessels, and electro-pneumatic end components
- Plan and conduct complex system and flight tests
- Create detailed test programs to validate components
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
- Ability to perform system-level propulsion design and select solutions for required operating conditions
- Experience or capability in specifying key propulsion-system components
Nice to have
- Experience in rocket propulsion or pressure systems
- Experience designing precision mechanical systems, dynamic systems, or accurate mechanisms
- Experience with flow and heat-transfer analyses
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
