Responsibilities
- Act as the technical focal point for PCB and PCBA manufacturing technologies.
- Lead DFM and DFT reviews for new and existing products.
- Support NPI activities and transfer products to manufacturing sites.
- Review PCB stack-ups, materials, fabrication drawings, Gerber data, and manufacturing documentation.
- Partner with PCB and PCBA suppliers to resolve manufacturing issues and improve yield.
- Support engineering changes and product lifecycle activities.
- Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions for production and field failures.
- Review and approve manufacturing documentation, specifications, and work instructions.
- Drive improvements in quality, cost, and manufacturability.
- Support incoming quality requirements and supplier qualification.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Manufacturing teams globally.
- Provide technical guidance on PCB materials, surface finishes, vias, stack-ups, and assembly processes.
- Manage battery and NFC specifications and requirements.
- Report technical results to peers and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in PCB/PCBA manufacturing technologies.
- Deep knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
- Knowledge of IPC standards, including IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, IPC-6012, and IPC-2221.
- Experience with PCB design and manufacturing validation tools such as Valor, PCBflow, BluePrint, Altium, or OrCAD.
- Strong understanding of electronic components and manufacturing constraints.
- Experience managing PCB suppliers and contract manufacturers.
- Ability to analyze manufacturing defects and lead corrective actions.
- Excellent Hebrew and English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a global matrix organization.
Nice to have
- Experience with RF products, batteries, NFC, or IoT devices.
- Familiarity with compliance and certification requirements.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
