Join a communications technology company’s R&D team to provide technical leadership and develop complex, high-performance hardware for wireless communication and networking systems.
Responsibilities
- Design high-speed digital boards using SerDes, DDR, and Ethernet technologies.
- Own schematic development and oversee PCB layout.
- Analyze and review signal integrity and power integrity performance.
- Lead board bring-up, validation, troubleshooting, and laboratory optimization.
- Collaborate with software, FPGA, mechanical, and RF engineering teams on system integration.
- Present technical insights, design updates, and project risks to management.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship in a hands-on engineering environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 7 years of hands-on hardware design experience.
- Strong experience in high-speed digital design, signal integrity, power integrity, and board-level architecture.
- Proficiency with Cadence Capture and Allegro.
- Hands-on laboratory experience with debugging, measurements, and board bring-up.
- Experience with Ethernet-based communication hardware.
- Familiarity with EMC/EMI practices and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with clocking and synchronization circuits, including PLLs, clock trees, jitter analysis, timing architectures, and SyncE.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
