R&D Laboratory Engineer

MATRIX is hiring an R&D Laboratory Engineer in Yokneam Illit, Israel, to perform hardware and system-level testing, prototype development, data analysis, and technical troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical, functional, and system-level tests.
- Collect, validate, and analyze test data.
- Build prototypes, wiring harnesses, lighting fixtures, and test systems for hardware evaluation and integration.
- Acquire data and measure signals in analog and digital systems.
- Read electrical schematics and support PCB-level debugging.
- Assist R&D engineers with testing, root-cause investigations, and technical issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a practical engineering diploma in Electronics or Mechatronics.
- At least 3 years of experience in R&D laboratories, hardware testing, integration, or performance analysis.
- Strong practical skills with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and hardware debugging.
- Knowledge of analog and digital circuits, sensors, data acquisition systems, and electrical schematics.
- Experience building prototypes and working with electronics, sensors, and embedded systems.
Nice to have
- Experience with scripting or programming tools such as MATLAB or Python.
