Design multidisciplinary mechanical systems for aesthetic medical devices, collaborating with software, electronics, physics, NPI, engineering teams, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed mechanical designs for multidisciplinary projects.
- Work concurrently across multiple R&D tasks and collaborate with software, electronics, physics, NPI, and engineering teams.
- Coordinate with subcontractors in Israel and abroad.
- Validate supplied parts and assemblies.
- Design components for manufacturing and mass production.
- Prepare detailed part and assembly drawings.
- Support transfer of designs to production.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in multidisciplinary R&D mechanical design.
- Experience in a medical device company.
- Experience with machining, including turning and milling.
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication, including bending and laser cutting.
- Experience designing for mass production.
- Experience creating detailed part and assembly drawings and supporting production transfer.
- Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High responsibility, initiative, and a proactive approach.
Nice to have
- Experience designing moving mechanisms, optomechanical assemblies, injection-molded plastic parts, or heat exchange systems.
- Experience with EPDM materials and applications.
- Experience with SolidWorks surface modeling.
