Lead systems engineering activities for point-of-care ultrasound products across the full medical device development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage system-level requirements and specifications throughout product development
- Lead system verification and validation, including end-to-end testing
- Coordinate as the primary interface between algorithm, software, and verification and validation teams
- Lead product risk management activities in line with regulatory and quality standards
- Resolve complex technical issues and support project milestones
- Collaborate with program management on scheduling, technical risk mitigation, and engineering decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in medical device development or complex systems development
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
- Ability to document, plan, and execute development programs
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Systems Engineering
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with project planning and cross-functional collaboration
