Support an on-site R&D laboratory containing networking and hardware setups under test. Maintain equipment, bring up new environments, troubleshoot incidents, and support networking and Linux-based systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an R&D lab with switches, routers, servers, and other hardware under test
- Troubleshoot and resolve lab incidents
- Install hardware and wiring for new lab setups
- Bring up new environments end to end, including network configuration
- Maintain networking software and other equipment software
- Maintain lab documentation
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on networking experience
- Router and switch configuration experience
- Linux experience
- Basic networking knowledge at approximately CCNA level
- Hardware installation and wiring experience
- Strong technical and debugging abilities
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Good reporting and documentation skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Confluence, Visio, and Jira
