Design and develop electrical harnesses and wiring assemblies for diverse systems, supporting the product from initial design through serial production.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical harnesses and wiring assemblies according to system requirements, engineering standards, and customer specifications.
- Prepare engineering drawings, electrical diagrams, manufacturing files, bills of materials, and production documentation.
- Define connectors, cables, wiring components, and accessories.
- Coordinate engineering activities with development, mechanical, manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance teams.
- Resolve engineering issues during manufacturing and assembly.
- Implement engineering changes through ECO/ECN processes and update documentation.
- Support prototypes and product transfer to serial production.
Requirements
- Experience with harness and wiring design is relevant to the role.
- Ability to work with dedicated CAD tools for harness and wiring design.
- Knowledge of electrical and wiring standards and procedures.
