Lead a team developing ASIC IP, subsystems, and SoCs from architecture and RTL design through production for large-scale computing systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor tech leads and designers across multidisciplinary, multi-site teams
- Lead IP, subsystem, and SoC design activities
- Own IP and SoC development from architecture through production
- Plan, execute, track, and report on assigned activities and deliverables
- Collaborate with internal customers across multiple activities
- Assure RTL design quality through reviews, static checks, physical-design preparation, and power analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience across the RTL design cycle from IP to SoC, specification through production
- 8 years of experience managing execution teams
- Experience with RTL design, design quality checks, physical-design aspects of RTL coding, and power
Nice to have
- Synthesis optimization for RTL performance and power
- Low-power design techniques
- Python or Perl scripting
- Design-for-test knowledge
- Knowledge of PCIe, UCIe, DDR, AXI, CHI, fabrics, or ARM processors
- Knowledge of SoC architecture and assertion-based formal verification
- High-performance and low-power design expertise
