A growing travel protection company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for its core R&D team. The role is approximately 70% backend-focused and involves owning features from database design through frontend delivery in a high-growth startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs with Node.js and TypeScript
- Build responsive web interfaces with React.js
- Own features end to end, including architecture, database design, and frontend implementation
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality code
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
- Evaluate technologies and best practices to improve the engineering stack
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong Node.js and TypeScript skills
- Proficiency with React.js and its core principles
- Strong understanding of database design and scalable distributed systems
- Experience with cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS
