Join a company building an autonomous execution platform for cloud data and AI workloads. Own the control plane end to end in a backend-heavy role covering services, APIs, and real-time interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Own the control-plane product surface, including architecture, services, APIs, and real-time interfaces
- Set technical direction for the control plane, including the stack, data contracts, and engineering patterns
- Build high-throughput services that process live telemetry and produce operational decisions
- Develop explainability features that make autonomous decisions understandable
- Translate enterprise customer needs into technical direction and architecture
- Drive testing, CI/CD, observability, and production quality standards
Requirements
- At least 7 years of full stack engineering experience, primarily focused on backend development
- Strong production experience with Python and FastAPI
- Strong production experience with TypeScript and React
- At least 2 years of hands-on production experience with AWS
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, Fargate, DynamoDB, ECR, S3, API Gateway, or EventBridge
- Experience leading startup engineering teams and building cyber, AI, or data-intensive products
- Track record of taking systems from architecture through production at scale
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Strong product intuition, engineering craftsmanship, and end-to-end ownership
Nice to have
- Experience with real-time, event-driven, or high-throughput cloud architectures
- Deep frontend experience with TypeScript, state management, and component architectures
- Background in observability, telemetry, developer platforms, or large-scale data platforms
- Experience with Spark, Databricks, or Snowflake
- Experience in a high-performance engineering environment, including an elite IDF technology unit
