Join an industrial software team building real-time energy optimization products. Own the customer-facing data path from message brokers and cloud services through backend APIs, web applications, dashboards, and reporting services.
Responsibilities
- Own the real-time data path from Pulsar consumption through asset routing, SQS publishing, and browser streaming
- Monitor and improve throughput, lag, memory use, and service performance using production evidence
- Develop React and Angular interfaces backed by NestJS APIs and reporting services
- Maintain backward-compatible shared libraries and validate changes across consuming applications
- Deploy review environments, run load and end-to-end tests, and report before-and-after results
- Debug incidents across Kubernetes clusters, messaging systems, Redis, queues, and cloud services
- Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams on Kubernetes manifests, capacity, ingestion, alerts, and rule-engine integrations
- Review code for correctness, compatibility, reuse, and simplicity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 3 years of backend or full-stack development experience
- Strong TypeScript experience with Node.js and React or Angular
- Production experience with a message broker such as Pulsar or Kafka, including subscriptions, acknowledgements, backlog, consumer lag, and partitioning
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes manifests, probes, resource limits, rolling updates, and pod scheduling
- Understanding of Node.js performance, event-loop behavior, worker processes, memory use, and measurement
- Hands-on experience with Redis and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Coralogix, or equivalent
- Experience writing unit, integration, load, and end-to-end tests
- Clear written communication for merge requests, root-cause analyses, and measured technical reporting
