Join a small financial technology team building a mortgage marketplace that connects lenders and investors. Own features across Vue interfaces, Django APIs, pricing and eligibility engines, integrations, and data pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack features with Vue 3, TypeScript, Django, and Django REST Framework
- Develop and maintain loan pricing and investor eligibility engines
- Integrate with loan-origination systems, due diligence providers, credit vendors, and valuation vendors
- Design data models and background processing pipelines for growing transaction volumes
- Write and maintain automated tests using pytest, Vitest, and Playwright
- Apply AI coding agents in daily development workflows
- Build AI capabilities into the product, including LLM features, agents, retrieval, and evaluation
Requirements
- At least 5 years of production software development experience
- At least 3 years of hands-on Vue.js and TypeScript experience
- Strong Python, Django, Django REST Framework, REST API, and database skills
- Experience with schema design, query performance, and safe migrations
- Hands-on experience building AI product capabilities such as LLM features, agents, retrieval, or evaluation
- Daily experience using AI coding agents, with the judgment to review and direct their output
- Experience working in complex platform environments involving integrations, data, and scale
- Strong UI/UX awareness and clear communication
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple workstreams, and collaborate with clients and colleagues
