Responsibilities
- Lead an agile software development squad building real-time connected-vehicle data products.
- Own the end-to-end technical architecture and implementation across the full stack.
- Architect and build resilient, high-scale microservices and distributed data applications using TypeScript and AWS.
- Design scalable RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures for real-time telemetry streaming.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance through code reviews and engineering standards.
- Drive execution velocity across local and distributed team members.
- Establish DevOps and automated deployment practices using CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or an equivalent technological degree.
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience, including 3–5 years as a Full-Stack Team Lead or Tech Lead.
- At least 5 years of hands-on production experience with TypeScript and AWS.
- Experience owning end-to-end systems architecture across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- Experience leading a significant product domain or core technology pillar.
- Advanced PostgreSQL expertise, including schema design, data modeling, index tuning, and query optimization.
- Strong REST API and event-driven or message-based architecture design skills.
- Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS managed services.
Nice to have
- Experience managing or guiding virtual or distributed development squads.
