Join a pre-silicon firmware team developing and verifying firmware for next-generation network adapters. The role involves hardware emulation, chip integration, and collaboration across design, verification, firmware, and software teams.
Responsibilities
- Integrate chip design RTL releases into network adapter firmware
- Bring up next-generation network devices on emulation systems
- Extend firmware support for new devices
- Collaborate with chip design, firmware, and software teams during integration
- Automate routine tasks and improve development methodologies
- Prepare and verify network adapter firmware for chip production
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
- At least 2 years of professional experience
- Understanding of computer architecture and operating systems
- Experience with Python and Bash
- Ability to solve problems independently and learn quickly
- Strong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary engineering teams
Nice to have
- Pre-silicon development experience
- Real-time or embedded software development
- Hardware verification concepts and tools
- Networking, Linux, and scripting knowledge
