Lead the architecture of firmware for next-generation networking devices, working across hardware, software, and systems teams on secure, reliable, high-performance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define firmware architecture for new networking products and features
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems architecture teams on end-to-end solutions
- Lead the design and implementation of functional safety, security, and networking technologies
- Mentor and technically guide R&D engineers through architecture, design, and implementation
- Set technical direction across multiple teams while maintaining scalable, maintainable, high-quality firmware
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 10 years of firmware or embedded software development experience
- At least 4 years of technical leadership experience as a technical lead, architect, or technical manager
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

- Networking protocols and high-performance networking experience
- Real-time or embedded systems experience
- Large-scale firmware architecture experience
- Agile development experience
- Security technologies or safety-critical systems experience
