Join a medical technology imaging team in Haifa to develop software, image reconstruction algorithms, and control logic for next-generation CT products. The role involves collaboration with global engineering teams and work across algorithms, platforms, applications, and AI.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement CT image-generation and reconstruction software, including algorithms and applications
- Lead complex software designs and related technical discussions
- Collaborate with system engineers, algorithm developers, and software engineers to extend shared CT platforms
- Develop core data structures and algorithms using C++, Python, CUDA, and OpenCL
- Analyze and optimize application and algorithm performance
- Contribute to a common imaging platform for medical imaging products
- Apply software lifecycle, testing, security, scalability, refactoring, documentation, and continuous integration practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of software development experience
- Strong C++ and Python programming experience
- Experience developing maintainable, high-quality software
- Ability to design solutions, analyze requirements, estimate development work, and understand end-to-end systems
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, Agile/Scrum, continuous integration, documentation, security, scalability, refactoring, and testing
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have
- Healthcare or medical imaging software experience, especially CT
- GPU-based algorithm development
- Image algorithm performance optimization
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Awareness of current technology trends and ability to introduce new ideas
