Develop geometric and signal-processing algorithms for large-scale automated high-definition map creation systems. Build scalable Python applications and move solutions from research into production.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize geometric and signal-processing algorithms
- Implement and maintain production-level Python code in a large codebase
- Analyze large datasets and build scalable solutions with scientific and big-data tools
- Take algorithms from research and prototyping through production deployment
- Research new algorithmic approaches for emerging challenges
- Explore graph neural network approaches alongside geometric algorithms
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience working with large production codebases
- At least 2 years of experience developing scientific or data-intensive applications in Python
- Strong complex problem-solving ability
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in a relevant field
- Experience with statistical estimation
- Experience with graph neural networks
