Join a research team developing world models and video foundation models for real-world driving intelligence, road safety, and autonomy. Lead open-ended research from initial questions through experiments and production-ready systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead research from early ideas through working models
- Develop methods for video understanding, motion prediction, and risk prediction
- Work with large-scale datasets, simulation environments, and advanced training infrastructure
- Translate real-world needs into clear research questions and measurable solutions
- Run experiments, analyze failures, and adapt research direction
- Balance exploratory research with near-term practical results
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and cross-functional teams
- Publish and present research at leading academic conferences
Requirements
- Significant research experience in computer vision, machine learning, or a related field
- Experience researching, training, and evaluating large models
- Experience with video understanding, representation learning, world models, trajectory prediction, or autonomous driving
- Ability to lead independent research with strong hands-on implementation skills
- Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch
- Experience training models and building reliable experimental pipelines
- Ability to use AI agents in research, experimentation, analysis, and execution
- Strong judgment, curiosity, pragmatism, and focus on real-world impact
Nice to have
- PhD in a relevant field
- Publications at leading machine learning or computer vision conferences
- Experience with simulation and closed-loop evaluation
- Experience with retrieval or distributed training
- Experience turning research ideas into systems used in practice
