A defense technology organization is seeking a full-time Algorithm Engineer in Netanya to research, implement, and validate algorithms for advanced sensing technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop advanced algorithms from research concepts through implementation.
- Design, conduct, and analyze laboratory and field experiments.
- Perform data analysis and processing, including image and signal-processing research.
- Collaborate with data scientists, hardware engineers, and systems engineers to create computational models of physical phenomena.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Geophysics.
- At least 3 years of experience in signal processing and a strong understanding of sampling theory.
- At least 3 years of experience analyzing audio or sensor signals, including STFT, spectrograms, and filtering.
- Experience extracting features from raw signals and integrating them into machine-learning pipelines.
- Hands-on experience training and evaluating deep-learning models, including CNNs and Transformers.
- Experience with NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, and PyTorch.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or higher.
- Familiarity with self-supervised learning methods.
- Experience with Python for large-scale data loading, transformation, and dataset preparation.
