Join the product design foundation team to shape the illustration and visual language used across digital products. Own illustration work from concept through scalable, AI-assisted systems.
Responsibilities
- Translate written ideas and strategy into visual storylines.
- Develop and evolve the illustration style across product use cases.
- Use AI tools to create concepts, from low-fidelity sketches to high-fidelity illustrations.
- Apply systems and product thinking to illustrations and document guidelines.
- Define how illustration relates to iconography, photography, and typography.
- Provide visual direction for 2D and 3D assets, including AI agent characters.
- Create illustrations and storyboards for animation.
- Connect product and brand teams through visual design.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as an illustrator, visual designer, or in a similar role, with a portfolio demonstrating range and a distinct style.
- Strong skills in composition, illustration, color, shape language, and visual storytelling.
- Experience creating illustrations for digital products and interfaces, including different sizes and states.
- Ability to build and document scalable illustration systems, including styles, components, and usage guidelines.
- Proficiency with Figma, Illustrator, Midjourney, Weavy, or similar tools, and AI-assisted illustration workflows at scale.
- Ability to turn ambiguous or technical briefs into clear visual concepts.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
