Lead an in-house creative studio producing performance-focused assets for user acquisition across discovery platforms. This hands-on role combines team leadership, creative execution, production operations, and data-informed iteration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, hire, and manage a multidisciplinary creative studio team.
  • Personally concept, script, and edit creative assets as needed.
  • Own the creative roadmap, timelines, capacity planning, and delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • Manage a shared creative pipeline that provides visibility into briefs, production, and delivery.
  • Oversee creative development, shoots, post-production, and vendor relationships.
  • Partner with user acquisition, brand, product marketing, and data teams on acquisition campaigns.
  • Manage creative assets from briefing and scripting through production, editing, versioning, and post-launch analysis.
  • Build repeatable processes for creative testing, performance tracking, and iteration.
  • Use performance data to guide creative strategy and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver internal event and company-wide design requests to schedule and brand standards.
  • Maintain storytelling, production quality, and brand consistency while supporting high-volume output.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in creative leadership, ideally in performance-focused environments such as consumer technology, direct-to-consumer, or growth marketing.
  • Strong understanding of creative requirements for YouTube, TikTok, Meta, and other discovery channels.
  • Experience managing and scaling in-house creative and production teams, including hiring and performance management.
  • Experience overseeing in-house shoots and post-production workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with AI and video or design tools such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Figma.
  • Ability to interpret performance data and use insights to guide creative decisions.
  • Experience managing high-volume creative workflows with tools such as Monday, Asana, or Air.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills.
  • A portfolio of recent work personally created, not solely work produced by a team.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with growth and media-buying teams.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, creative analytics platforms, and performance dashboards.
  • Interest in storytelling, branding, and rapid creative experimentation.
