Join a defense technology organization in Rehovot to develop multidisciplinary opto-mechanical systems and support their integration and production.
Responsibilities
- Design opto-mechanical assemblies, mechanisms, electronic card packaging, jigs, and alignment and measurement fixtures.
- Own mechanical design from concept and development through documentation, integration, and production support.
- Collaborate with Electronics, Optics, Systems Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.
- Work independently and collaboratively while meeting project requirements, schedules, and quality standards.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of mechanical design experience.
- Proficiency with CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks.
- Strong knowledge of machining, casting, and aluminum manufacturing processes.
- Solid understanding of GD&T and technical drawings.
Nice to have
- Experience with PDM systems.
- Background in defense or space systems.
- Experience in opto-mechanical design.
- Experience with laser and fiber-optic systems.
