Join an AI-powered maritime fleet intelligence company as its first Product Analyst. Lead product analytics and strategic research that guide product decisions, validate performance, and identify opportunities across maritime and insurance use cases.
Responsibilities
- Own product data analysis, validation, and reporting
- Analyze engagement, adoption, workflows, and value across onboard and shore applications
- Build dashboards and reports covering KPIs, risk scores, and product usage across customers and fleets
- Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to identify bottlenecks, validate hypotheses, and improve performance
- Ensure data quality and consistency across analytics sources
- Research product opportunities by identifying trends and correlations in maritime insights and risk scores
- Recommend new modules, features, and risk-engineering tools based on maritime and insurance needs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, AI/ML, customer success, maritime, and insurance stakeholders
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in product analytics, business intelligence, or data research
- Experience with SaaS, AI/ML-driven products, or data-rich enterprise applications
- Hands-on SQL experience and familiarity with product analytics tools such as Looker, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Tableau
- Comfort using Python or R for deeper analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, engineering, economics, or a similar quantitative field
- Ability to design and track KPIs, funnels, and cohort analyses
- Strong analytical communication skills for technical and business audiences
Nice to have
- Experience in maritime, industrial, banking risk management, or insurance industries
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and risk-scoring frameworks
- Advanced degree such as an MSc, PhD, or MBA
