Responsibilities
- Develop mathematical and machine learning models for production systems
- Apply optimization frameworks to complex operational problems
- Build Bayesian optimization and hyperparameter-tuning solutions
- Design propensity-scoring, uplift-modeling, and A/B-testing frameworks
- Develop predictive and prescriptive models for pricing, bidding, and resource allocation
- Architect time-series forecasting models for dynamic decision engines
- Manage the machine learning lifecycle from research and prototyping through deployment, monitoring, and scaling
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in machine learning engineering or data science roles
- Deep theoretical and practical expertise in convex, constrained, and gradient-based optimization
- Practical experience with Bayesian optimization or algorithmic hyperparameter optimization
- Strong skills in causal inference and experimentation, including propensity scoring, uplift modeling, and experimental design
- Experience applying machine learning and optimization to pricing, real-time bidding, or resource allocation
- Experience developing and evaluating advanced time-series models for real-time decision-making
- Hands-on experience deploying, serving, and monitoring low-latency or streaming machine learning models in production
Nice to have
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
