Join a small engineering team developing a learning-based driving planner. You will evaluate model behavior, investigate failures, and ensure that performance measurements remain accurate as the system evolves.
Responsibilities
- Review closed-loop driving performance and investigate model behavior and failures.
- Help develop and validate metrics that capture meaningful planner performance.
- Identify problems not covered by the current evaluation process.
- Track improvements and regressions as the driving planner evolves.
- Collaborate closely with model developers in a small team with short development cycles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Python skills for data analysis and evaluation.
- Strong analytical judgment, including the ability to identify patterns, test explanations, and communicate clear, actionable findings.
Nice to have
- Experience evaluating algorithm or model performance.
- Experience developing metrics.
- Experience analyzing complex systems.
