A defense organization is seeking a Senior BI Developer to design and deliver end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions across data infrastructure, modeling, reporting, and visualization. The role is based in the Shfela area, Israel, and is full-time.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end BI solutions from requirements through implementation.
- Build interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure using Oracle and SQL Server.
- Develop data solutions with SQL and Python.
- Design and build data models using Tabular and Power BI.
- Develop advanced calculations and metrics with DAX.
- Optimize data models, queries, and infrastructure for performance.
- Define ETL processes and develop integrations between systems.
- Integrate data from SQL Server, Oracle, Excel, and text files.
- Analyze and validate data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Work with users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions.
- Own BI tasks and solutions throughout the full development lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional BI development experience.
- Hands-on experience delivering end-to-end BI solutions across backend and frontend environments.
- Strong Power BI development experience, including Power BI On-Premises.
- Experience building data infrastructure with Oracle and/or SQL Server.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries and stored procedures.
- Strong hands-on experience with DAX and Tabular.
- Professional Python development experience.
- Experience defining ETL processes and developing system integrations.
- Strong understanding of data modeling.
- Ability to translate business requirements into end-to-end technical solutions.
- Required bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management with an Information Systems specialization, Statistics, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with manufacturing, procurement, or project management business processes.
- Familiarity with SAP.
