Lead a business intelligence development team while overseeing BI and data projects, client solutions, delivery quality, and team development.
Responsibilities
- Manage and professionally lead a team of developers through coaching, guidance, reviews, and professional development
- Provide technical support, conduct code reviews, and ensure development and deliverable quality
- Manage BI and data projects from planning through execution, including goals, budgets, and schedules
- Work directly with clients to understand needs and lead BI and data analysis solutions
- Identify business opportunities and expand work with existing clients
- Evaluate and advance technologies, tools, and capabilities that can create value
- Build work plans and track tasks, budgets, schedules, and performance metrics
- Improve delivery processes, identify gaps, and lead corrective and preventive actions
- Run team meetings and professional forums while reporting to company leadership
Requirements
- Significant professional experience in BI or data
- Hands-on experience developing and implementing BI and data analysis solutions
- Experience managing projects and working directly with clients
- Ability to manage and monitor multiple projects and tasks in parallel
- Strong combination of business perspective and technical orientation
- Strong planning, prioritization, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership abilities
